Why Textile Engineering?

Our Vision: To provide a rigorous textile engineering program through teaching and research and providing a broad-based education for graduates to enter globally competitive textile engineering careers.

The Department is devoted to advancing textile chemistry, material science and engineering of polymers, fibers, and textiles.

Our Mission: The mission of NEDUET Textile Undergraduate Degree Programs is to produce textile professionals having comprehensive knowledge of design, machinery, production and management in Textiles by educating them fundamental concepts and advanced skills.

Internships and Industrial Linkage

Internship is mandatory during the summer vacations of the third year ( 5th semester ) for a period of 4 weeks.

Faculty members are responsible for arranging internships. The Department has established industrial liaison & outreach programs to collaborate with industry & professional organizations. Our experienced & established Alumni, spread throughout the industry plays a pivotal role in this mutually beneficial liaison.

A proven track record of 100% employment ratio for NED Textile Engineering Graduates. Average starting salary as of current year is PKR 25,000
